Made by a pilot for pilots, may I present the TO/GA “T Handle” consists of a throttle lever containing two TO/GA switches, one on each end and connected such that either the pilot or copilot can activate their respective TO/GA switch .

The one piece TO/GA “T Handle” replaces the two metal throttle tubes of the existing quadrant. The T handle slips over the vertical throttle lever and fastens through a fastener stake through the bottom of the T, through the lever and into the other side of T bottom. The three wire shielded harness is routed such that it will proceed down the throttle lever via a heat shrink battery sleeve, down through the throttle bezel race and then fwd to aircraft systems.

Inspired by the throttle control lever of the F-4 Phantom, the TO/GA “T Handle” consists of a 3.7 inch 3D printed control lever which mounts on the throttle lever of all Vans CT82/83F, SMCT2L/3L or CMCT2L/3L throttle quadrants (as pictured) for the Vans RV-6/6A, 7/7A, 9/9A, 10, 12 and 14 . A functionally wired TO/GA switch is contained within end of the throttle lever, and is operated by the thumb of either the left or right pilot. The switch itself is a switch that requires a few mm movement before a position requiring breakout force to activate the switch so therefore, the switch requires positive action to activate and is not prone to unintentional activation.

The TO/GA “T Handle” is sized to adequately clear the PROP or MIXTURE control knob while still retaining the throttle ergonomics of the original Vans throttle quadrant. The TO/GA “T Handle” is also tailored to permit full throttle and idle cutoff angles on both the horizontal throttle bezel of the Vans CT82F/83F throttle quadrant and the curved throttle bezel of the Vans CMCT2L, SMCT2L/3L throttle quadrant.

The “T handle” comes complete with a functionally tested and wired TO/GA switches with installation harness and attachment hardware. (RV-7 CMCT2L Throttle quadrant shown in pictures, not included in sale).

MIXTURE and PROP control knobs: Found also within this site are applicable FAR 23.781 PROP and MIXTURE control knobs (shown in pictures) that provide a weight reduction, size increase and remove/replace option to your anodized aluminum prop and mixture control knobs. The red MIXTURE control knob and blue PROP control knob are sold separately within the SHOP area of this website.
