Made by a pilot for pilots, “The HOTAS” Throttle Grip with a 3-position FLAP Toggle switch for a GAD-27 Flap Controller and a two position rocker switch for G3X system inputs for COMMS 1 & 2 Tx . The assembly. is manufactured in the USA by Swearingen 3D works of Marion IA., packaged in the USA and distributed by the designer.

The throttle grip consists of a 5.6 inch 3D printed universal throttle overlay, ergonomically shaped to comfortably rest within the left hand, incorporating palm and finger cutouts. It incorporates prominent inboard and outboard fences to prevent hand slippage off the throttle in a high G or inverted environment. The grip slips over the Vans CT-83F Deluxe or CT-84F Deluxe throttle quadrant or any throttle with a 1 inch diameter tube.

The 3-position Toggle FLAP switch is contained within the inboard fence of the grip, and is activated by the pad of the left-hand thumb. The two-position spring return to center COMMS 1 & 2 Tx rocker switch is located below the FLAP switch and is contained a dedicated housing to be activated by the pad of the left-hand thumb. • The "Cross Country" control grip, made from tough ecologically friendly, black 3D printer PLA, is sculptured to fit the left hand and contains an inboard, outboard slip guard. 

• Anti-Rotation Cutout embodied within the outboard portion of the overlay to prevent rotation of the grip on the stock throttle body.

• Throttle Stake added to allow mechanical fastening of overlay to throttle structure to prevent inboard overlay movement on internal throttle structure. Mechanical fastener provided.

• Finish: Military Black Flat Finish over urethane.

•  Throttle Grip contains a three position Toggle switch for FLAP position inputs to the GAD-27 flap controller, rated as follows:

The switch is permanently mounted within the grip, wired and provided with 20 inches of 22 AWG, Shielded TEFZEL, four conductor (3.52 mm diameter), functionally tested wire harness.

• COMMs rocker switch orientation is defaulted to a horizontal configuration, thus allowing COMMS 1 Tx (FWD), COMMS 2 Tx (AFT) orientation. Vertical orientation disallowed.

• The switch is permanently mounted per your orientation selection, within the face of the inboard fence, wired and provided with 20 inches of 22 AWG, Shielded TEFZEL, three conductor (3.04 mm diameter), functionally tested wire harness for the (ON)-OFF-(ON) configuration.
