Made by a pilot for pilots, the PROP Control Sphere is manufactured in the USA by Swearingen 3D works of Marion IA., packaged in the USA and distributed by the designer. Upon order, your configuration options are checked and checks performed to assure the value and performance I have designed for you.

The PROP control knob consists of a 30mm, 3D printed Prop sphere, scaled from North American engineering plans, and most recently a restoration of a T-6 Texan. The PROP sphere has been made to be compatible with the VANs RV-3, -4, and -8 /8A throttle quadrants CT-42F, CT-43F and CT- 82F, 83F and 81R (as pictured). The PROP knob has been sized to adequately clear the P-47 and P-51 throttle grips and MIXTURE control knobs, sold on this site. Additionally, as shown in comparison with a smaller black RV-4 prop knob (see photo 6), the increased size still retains the throttle ergonomics of the original VANs throttle quadrant.

This is a PROP control knob that provides a remove and replace option to your CT series of VANs throttle quadrants. (RV-4 CT-43F Throttle quadrant shown in pictures, not included in sale).

The Prop sphere additionally can be purchased in the WWII color BLACK.

• The T-6 configuration has the “power level line” embedded within the Prop sphere, in addition to the “P”. This option was added as a result of a restoration of a North American T-6 Texan. The T-6 configuration was duplicated and modified to fit the VANs throttle quadrant.
